Project V.O.I.C.E. and S.P.E.A.K.
Giving All of Their Voice
The Project V.O.I.C.E. and S.P.E.A.K. programs give teens and young adults aged 14 and over a meeting place to improve life skills, build interests, develop talents and discover strengths. The program welcomes those with Spectrum Disorders and other Social Learning and Social Communication challenges.
At V.O.I.C.E., Vocational Opportunities In Career Education, members will meet weekly to receive job-skills training designed to target and enhance independent life skills. Participants will have the opportunity to join in a series of supported, hands-on therapeutic workshops, seminars, role plays, and community projects to help prepare them to enter the work force.
At S.P.E.A.K, Social Program Enhancing Adult Knowledge, you can join us each week for fun and meaningful group activities! Each night starts with interactive group-based social coaching, followed by hands-on classes and activities in specialty areas including, stress reduction, time management, relationships/dating, healthy life choices, and many more!
And if that isn’t enough, the groups also combine to take part in community-based activities such as bowling, concerts, dinner & a movie, and so much more!
With so much to gain, how can you lose?
The first 8 week session begins on October 6th and will run every Thursday from 3:30pm-5:30pm for ages 14-18 and 6pm-8pm for ages 18 and up. The groups will also meet every other Saturday from 12pm-2pm beginning November 12th. The cost per 2 hour session is $60.
