Interactive Kids is a community resource designed to provide the highest quality consultation and training services for individuals, their families, professionals, and other providers, through a collaborative solution-driven relationship.
At Interactive Kids, we offer a wide array of behavioral, educational, and vocational-based services for individuals with a variety of learning concerns, including autism, intellectual disabilities, non-verbal learning disorders, brain injury, ADHD, behavior disorders, and other neurological impairments. In addition, we treat those who may not be diagnosed but are experiencing socially challenging behaviors.
Our Mission
Interactive Kids provides the most comprehensive, evidence-based approach to address the behavioral, educational, functional, and social skills profiles of individuals with various support needs in partnership with their families, other professionals, and community members.

Center-Based ABA Therapy
Center-Based ABA therapy allows behavior consultants, the learner, and ABA therapist focus on behavior reduction, skill acquisition, social interactions, daily living skills, as well as various developmental and behavioral skills.
In-Home ABA Therapy
In-home ABA therapy is a collaborative effort amongst caregivers, the learner, the behavior consultant, and the ABA therapist. Our goal is to create and implement a comprehensive program to meet each learner’s individual needs.
Social Skills
We offer various social skills across the lifespan focused on building skills in small group settings. Skill focuses include conversation skills, turn-taking, sharing, conflict resolution, perspective-taking, building self-esteem AND MORE!
School Consultation
Our highly trained behavioral consultants support students so they can thrive in their least-restrictive setting by way of support at the individual, classroom-wide, program-wide, and School District-wide level.
Behavior Stabilization
Our short-term, center-based program designed for students that are struggling in the classroom. Treatment goals include treating interfering behaviors for successful reintegration into the classroom setting.
Counseling
Our counseling team treats various behavioral and mental health diagnoses utilizing various treatment approaches that focus on the needs of each individual client and family. Our goal is to decrease distress and improve one's ability to reach their fullest potential.

Interactive Kids values the expertise of parents and caregivers. With all of our programs, we encourage their partnership as a critical element to each individual's success.
Open dialog and constant feedback with parents/caregivers, therapists, and administrative staff is prioritized to achieve a successful learning environment for all our students.

Our Beginnings
Founders, Megann and Melissa, had a dream of improving the lives of children, taking the evidence-based approach of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and delivering services in a way that put the person first, not the label. This dream started to become reality in 2005, when Interactive Kids began offering a limited number of social skills classes, along with consultation services, to local school districts. This has now grown to over 70 throughout the mid-Atlantic region, as well as treatment of individuals who attend our on-site based programs. Interactive Kids has four different locations to bring the highest quality services directly to our clients and their families.
Through the years, Interactive Kids has expanded the number and types of services offered to the community. Currently, programming consists of counseling services for individuals and their families, outpatient speech-language therapy, vocational programming, early learners programming for those getting ready for school, and many other uniquely tailored services for our amazing clients. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for IK!!
