The transition to high school and adulthood is exciting and terrifying at the same time. Many learners may be overwhelmed by new peers, teachers, and school itself. Peer pressure and determining self independence becomes more significant. ABA focus at this level is primarily on functional skills. Just as the learner grows and learns, the ABA program expands with their needs. ABA can support learning throughout high school in the following categories: interviewing, work assistance, reproduction education, personal safety, healthy relationships, and functional and social skills.
Our intensive services are available in-home, center-based, or in a hybrid format. Intensive services focus on increasing clients’ independence through individualized programs that target behavior reduction, social skill development, and skill acquisition in the areas of daily living and vocational training.
Our Bridge program aims to bridge the gap between school and adulthood. This services is after school programming that is center-based in a small group setting. The program focuses on life skills, social skills, prevocational skill development, executive functioning skills, as well as self-advocacy skill building.
